Radio frequency is a painless, non-invasive way to reduce fat, smooth away cellulite, minimize the appearance of stretch marks, and tighten loose skin. The most common areas treated are the belly, inner thighs, hips, lower back and arms. Maderotherapy, commonly known as Wood Therapy, offers a noninvasive deep tissue approach to enhance body sculpting. This technique utilizes manual methods and specialized tools to enhance circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and boost metabolism. By facilitating the release of toxins, it kick-starts metabolism, aiding in the efficient burning of fat. Performed at the same time, our skin tightening setting is perfect for loose, sagging skin after dramatic weight loss, pregnancy or aging skin. Common areas tightened are hanging skin under the chin and neck, “batwings” under the upper arms, belly skin, and loose skin along the inner thighs. Additionally, skin tightening can be performed over the entire face, giving you a face-lifting and tightening effect with no cutting, pain, or downtime! The Lipo light uses cold laser light to reduce the appearance of fat. It gently absorbs fat cells, permanently shrinking the fat content and resulting in inch loss.
The radio frequency energy penetrates the skin layers to selectively heat the skin tissue where the collagen fibres are embedded. The local heating causes an immediate contraction of the collagen fibres, and fat cells drain then shrink, while those all important fibroblast cells (part of our connective tissue) are stimulated to produce new collagen and elastic fibres. The effect of this is tighter, smoother, younger looking skin with a visible ‘lift’. Fat cells are reduced and stubborn cellulite looks a lot less noticeable.
The treatment itself is surprisingly relaxing hot Massage. All that’s required is to show your therapist your problem areas and lie back on the treatment bed and wait for the magic to begin.
Most people will be able to feel the result in the smothness of their skin and stubborn fat gets soft in their first session, but results continue to emerge in the days following the treatment too. Skin is remarkably smother and muscle tone is more visible too. Normally, multiple sessions are required, generally 1- 2 treatments per week until you’ve had about 4-10 treatments in total, this depends on the results you want and the advice of your aesthetic practitioner.
Normally there are no side effects from the treatment, but some people might find the treatment area is a little red post treatment but this usually resolves after 1-2 days of post treatment. There are very rare cases that could take 4-5 days, depending on the age and poor blood circulation.
